Welcome to Our Church!

We daily need wisdom and love beyond our own capacities. Because of this we've found it's important to set aside a few hours each week to worship God, and learn from His Word. In our Sunday school and worship services both young and old learn principles for successful living, not just for Sunday but for everyday.

Another source of strength and joy is the support that other Christians give. What encouragement comes from being with people from a variety of backgrounds and interests who care about each other. How helpful it is to listen to the wisdom of older christians and enjoy the exuberance of the young.

About our Fellowship
We are a part Bridges Fellowship International (www.westcoastworldoutreach.com) under the direction of Presiding Bishop Mark Filkey of Stockton, Ca. and Residing Bishop Shaun Cooper (www.newcreationfamilychurch.com) of Shreveport, La. Bridges Fellowship is a powerful Spirit Filled interdenominational network of leaders who understand the monumental importance of real relationships in ministry and business. Our fellowship is comprised of men and women who understand their need for one another as we carry out our God given mandates of the Kingdom. Covenant is based upon love, trust and committment. About our history
In 1992, Juanita Crump begin to hold bible studies at her business, Gatewood Realty Inc, 2201 M.L King Avenue, Flint Michigan, 48503. Periodically, the small group of individuals would receive invites from various people to hold Bible studies at different homes. The group ultimately met at the Real estate agency until 1996. This was the beginning of what would one day become "Five Fold Ministry Christian Center."

In 1992, Juanita met Sister Lillian Victorian of Houston Texas. It was a chance meeting which eventually evolved into hosting the "Annual Five Fold Ministry Conference".

In 1995, Juanita Crump met Shirley Stepp at a musical taping for TBN Television station in Saginaw Michigan. During the break, the two began to talk and were amazed to discover that God has blessed them with a similar vision for ministry, presenting the Word of God through plays & skits. A mutual friendship developed. A few months later, Shirley was blessed to acquire a building that would eventually house Servant's Heart Ministry.

In August 1995, the small Bible band begin to meet and fellowship with "Feed My Sheep" Ministry, a division of Servant's Heart Ministry, under the Pastorship of Minister Val Smith. When Pastor Smith decided to move the church to another city, the small band was left without a church to fellowship. It was decided that we would continue to meet and begin to pay rent to Servant's Heart Ministry for the use of the building.

In 1996, the center on Beryl was sold to another church. We then moved to the Urban League of Flint in February of 1996. In April of 1996, The Five Fold Ministry Christian Center was formerly incorporated. From February of 1996 to June of 1996, we met at the Urban League until closing the transaction with Dort Federal Credit Union for the purchase of our church. By the third week of June, 1996 we had completed renovations, and obtained all necessary certifications and permits. We moved into our new church on Pierson Road. God continue to expand the ministry and we began to out grow our building. In June 2004, we moved into our present location at 8041 North McKinley Road in Flushing Michigan. Bible studies and other meetings are held at our Pierson Road location...."One Church In Two Locations"

About Our Belief

We believe that our church is engaged in the heavenly Father's business, and we take that business very seriously. We are the custodians of the most precious things given to man, the means of divine grace.

We believe there is one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is true God and true man (Philipians 2:5-8)
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18 & 23), led a sinless life, took on Himself all our sins (Roman 5:8-9), died on the cross, and rose again (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our mediator (Hebrews 9:15) and advocate (1 John 2:1)
We believe the Bible is God's Word, uniquely and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and is authoritative on all matters on which it speaks (2 Peter 1:20-21)
We believe all people sin and fall short of the glory of God (Roman 3:23) and will face eternal separation from God unless they come into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ (John 3:16-17). Salvation is a free gift from God (Ephesians 2:8-9) that can only be received by faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12, Galatians 2:16)
We believe God works through the members of His church to evangelize the lost and teach believers to obey His commands (Matthew 28:18-20). Churches are to be open to and accepting of all people, offering God's love and redemption to each person without prejudice or condemnation (John 3:16-18). However in their efforts to reach out, churches must take care to uphold the Word of God and not engage in moral compromises (Roman 12:2) or affirm any sin such as sexual immorality, idolatry, adultery, homosexuality, stealing, greed, drunkenness, slander, swindling ( 1 Corinthians 6:9-10), murder, strife, deceit, malice, gossip (Roman 1:21-32) witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, rage, selfish ambition, factions, or envy (Galatians 5:19-21)
We believe that it is the will of God that each believer be filled with the Holy Spirit and speak with new tongues. (Acts 1:8, 19:1-6)
We believe God's people are called to holiness in all aspects of life (Galatians 5:22-25) with the goal of being conformed to the image of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29)
